Below are some frequently asked questions from members and where to access information. Our team is always available to answer questions as well. Simply stop by the concierge desk, email concierge@thehudson.org or call 414-220-9460, option 1 any time we can assist.

Not a member? No problem! We welcome you at Hudson. While many of the benefits described below may not be available to you as a guest, guests are welcome in the Cafe + Lounge any time, to host meetings and events, and to spend a day in the Work Center with a Day Pass. Contact us any time for assistance.

What days and times is Hudson available for members to work?

The member Work Center at Hudson is open Monday-Friday at 7:00am (the Cafe + Lounge opens at 6:30am, and staff can provide member access through the Cafe + Lounge at this time if needed). In the evenings, Hudson is open until 8:00pm or later based on business levels and member needs. For safety and security, access to the Work Center after the concierge desk is closed is available through the Cafe + Lounge. The concierge desk typically closes at 6:00pm Mon-Thurs and 5:00pm on Friday.

Saturdays, the member Work Center and meeting rooms are available 10:00am-4:00pm, access is available through the cafe. Sundays, Hudson is available by request or for private events only.

Due to Private events, there may be limited access to the member Work Center on some evenings and on weekends, but we happily accommodate any member requiring work space during these times in private offices. Simply contact a staff member for assistance.

How do I book an office, meeting room or event at Hudson?

Guests (non-members), may request meeting rooms or event space by completing the online form, email or phone (concierge@thehudson.org or 414-220-9460, option 1).

Hudson members are able to book meeting rooms directly online 24/7 via their member account.  If you are unable to book what you need, Hudson staff may be able to assist, so please don’t hesitate to reach out for assistance in booking space at any time (concierge@thehudson.org or 414-220-9460, option 1).

How do I book a private event at Hudson?

Hudson is a great venue for business and professional events including:

  • Presentations for 12-125 guests
  • Happy Hour or Networking events for up to 250 guests
  • Celebrations such as birthdays, retirement parties, holiday parties

Anyone is welcome to book meetings and events at Hudson! Members receive special discounts for private events. Catering and bar service is provided by the Hudson team. Contact us here or email Erin@thehudson.org to discuss your upcoming event.

What is the best way to connect with fellow Hudson members?

Hudson provides a number of ways for members to connect.

  1. Set-up your profile on the member portal
  2. Join the Hudson member Facebook page
  3. Join us for a Hudson member happy hour (watch for notices in the work center, in email newsletters and on the member Facebook page)
  4. Just come in and work here! Familiar faces soon become acquaintances and friends at Hudson.
  5. Looking for a specific resource? Ask the Hudson team and we will personally connect you if there is a Hudson member who meets your needs.

How do I access the secure WIFI and other technology at Hudson?

Please stop by or email the concierge desk for the current WIFI Password.

PIN Number – Hudson members are provided a 5-digit PIN number as soon as membership is activated. This number can be viewed on your profile, or our team at the Concierge Desk can look it up. This number is used to sign-in when you arrive to work at Hudson and to access the secure copier and printer.

Copier/Scanner

The copier is located behind the wall at the concierge desk. This copier provides the ability for members to access the mobile print function, simply visit bit.ly/HudsonPrint and select your operating system for the step by step process. Each level of membership offers a set amount of printing credits per month and more may be purchased by members at a discounted rate.  If you need any assistance, the concierge will be more than happy to help!

What other member benefits should I be aware of?

Complimentary coffee, filtered water; Hudson’s version of the “water cooler”!

Cafe Reward Dollars

Cafe reward dollars are sent by email on Monday mornings. The email has a 6 digit code that you show the cashier in the cafe when you check out. Don’t have the code? The cafe staff can also look it up by name or email. The coupons come in $5 increments and all $5 must be used at one time. Community Four Members will receive them the first two Monday’s of each month, Community 8 Members the first 3 Mondays, and Community 12 Members the first 4 Mondays. Voyager Level Members receive their reward dollars via a gift card.

Shredding

Professional shredding service is in place at Hudson. The receptacle is located next to the copier in the work center.

Shower

There is a shower available to members at Hudson and towels are provided.

Phone Booths

If you need a quiet space to take a last minute phone call, there are phone booths located upstairs. At the top of the steps take a right, and you will find three of them, with sliding doors for privacy. They are first come, first serve, and no need to reserve them in advance! We do ask that you please limit your time in them to a half hour so that other members can use them as well.

Hudson provides discounted rates for private events. Plan your next business function or social event with us and we will work with you to make it a great success!

Member Referral Program

Members referring members is how the Hudson membership base continues to evolve and grow. Who better to join our community than our own members’ contacts! Hudson offers a generous referral bonus to members who refer other members, more information is available here.

What other services does Hudson offer?

Cafe + Bar

Enjoy specially made coffee beverages, smoothies, beer, wine, cocktails, all day breakfast, lunch, lite bites and even something for your sweet tooth. Jenny and the cafe staff serve up delicious, fast, casual entrees, made from scratch daily. Feel free to order in the cafe and we’ll deliver it straight to your workspace! Private Events + Catering

Hudson Business + Lounge offers catering for meetings and events at Hudson. Hudson can host events for up to 250 guests including presentations, training, receptions and more. We also offer a limited amount of catering for offsite events. The current catering menu can be viewed here. Contact us any time for information about hosting or catering your next event!

Mailboxes

Mailboxes are available for a monthly rate of $75. Members receive a 10%-20% discount on the monthly rate, based on membership level.  Once post office paperwork is complete, Hudson can legally accept your mail and sign for packages. The Concierge will send an email when packages arrive and you can call any time to inquire about items received in your mailbox. Hudson offers mail-forwarding options as well, contact the Concierge Desk for more information.

Storage

Rolling File cabinets are available for $25 per month.

Parking

There are several options when it comes to parking near Hudson. Immediately adjacent to Hudson, street parking is metered 8:00am-6:00pm (Monday-Friday) and are limited to two hour increments for $3 ($1.50/hr). Meters are free after 6:00pm, all day Saturday and Sunday. If you are going to be here all day, we suggest the parking structure at 212 N. Milwaukee Street or at the Italian Community Center (ICC), just a few blocks further. Currently, the parking structure costs $15 for 4-8 hours and the surface lot at the ICC is $5 for the day (these prices are subject to change).  If you require more permanent parking, The ICC also offers daily and monthly parking at some of the best rates in the neighborhood.
