Gary Lato

Co-Managing Partner

Gary and the team at HUDSON strive to build a vibrant place where the confluence of creativity, relationships, and projects lead to success for members and guests. Gary, a graduate of UW-Madison’s School of Business, provides operational leadership including a network spanning four decades in metro Milwaukee. He also provides advisory work with numerous national nonprofits and small business startups. His career includes stints with Waukesha based Generac Power Systems and the Milwaukee office of accounting firm Price Waterhouse.

Dan Walsh

Co-Managing Partner

Dan’s decades of experience with Milwaukee’s commercial office tenants and building owners gives him deep understanding of the dynamics and rapid evolution of workspace brought on by a mobile workforce. Dan, a graduate of MU and MU Law School, provides Hudson with strategic leadership, facilities design & management, and diverse network connections. His vision is for HUDSON to take advantage of the efficiencies of a digital world and become an exceptionally high quality, flexible and cost effective platform ideally suited to foster entrepreneurial business growth in the region.

Dan Walsh

Co-Managing Partner

Dan’s twenty plus years in the Milwaukee’s office real estate market, serving both building owners and tenants alike, has provided him with deep knowledge of the needs for today’s mobile workforce. Dan provides strategic leadership and vast connections, and sees HUDSON as the platform for today’s creatives and influentials to exchange ideas and further the intangible flow of relationships.

Erin Hochevar

Director of Community

Erin brings more than 15 years of hospitality experience to HUDSON with management at The Fluno Center in Madison, GE’s Learning Center in Waukesha, Sodexo Conferencing in Columbus, Ohio and most recently at local restaurant group Hospitality Democracy.  An event planner and marketer at heart, Erin brings a passion for quality service, memorable experiences and striving for excellence with a little fun mixed in.

Nick Schultz

Steward of Member Experience

Prior to Joining the HUDSON team, Nick spent time in the non-profit arena and most recently, at a tech start-up in Milwaukee. Mission-driven and growth-focused, Nick has worked on projects ranging from relief work to sustainable social and economic development in Africa, Latin America, the Caribbean, and the United States. He holds a B.A. in Sociology and Social Thought from Hillsdale College, and enjoys the outdoors, thought-provoking conversation, fine cigars and good bourbon. Real-life superheroes: Bono, Mandela, Deitrich Bonhoeffer, and Dr. Pete Blum.

Julia Bettis

Operations Manager

While attending Marquette University, Julia began her career in hospitality. She has been fortunate enough to work for Kincaid’s Fish, Chop and Steakhouse, Molly Cool’s Seafood Tavern, Jacksons’s Blue Ribbon Pub Downtown, and for the restaurant group Hospitality Democracy. She feels HUDSON is the perfect place to put all of her learned talents to use. She prides herself on seeing what needs to be done, then finding a way to get it done in the most efficient way. She comes from a very large Irish family, which made it hard to leave Springfield Illinois over a decade ago, but Milwaukee stole her heart and here she stays.

Erin Hochevar

Director of Community

Working in restaurants through her college career and at various restaurants from The Main Street Bistro in Racine where she was the Sous Chef to Mimmas Café, Eagans on Water and The Milwaukee Waterfront Deli. Jenny’s been the Café Manager and Chef at HUDSON since 2014 and has come to feel well rooted in its community.

David Kotke

Bar Manager

Born and raised on the south side of Milwaukee, David served as the Co-Captain of the college cheer-leading squad at UW-Parkside in his early days (which explains his “go team” attitude), and now serves as HUDSON’S bar manager! With years of experience in food and beverage service, David brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to HUDSON’S growing selection of craft beer, unique wine selection and carefully prepared cocktail list. Stop in and maybe he’ll make you his drink of choice: a Grey Goose martini with a twist & blue cheese olives!
